Stop Chasing Bigger Months. Raise Your Floor Instead.

The overlooked shift that creates high cash months with surprising consistency.

There is a question I ask almost every client we work with.

“What’s your monthly income goal? How much do you want to create every month, on the regular?”

The answers sound as you might expect…

“$20k months.”

“$50k months.”

“$100k months.”

Then I ask a second question.

“What amount of money are you absolutely unwilling to go below?”

That’s when I get the double-take. 😎

Very few people have thought about it before I ask. Which is quite fascinating, because that second question is infinitely more important than the first.

The entrepreneurs who create one extraordinary month…

...usually create another ordinary month right after it.

The entrepreneurs who keep raising their Floor – what they will NOT go below?

They create extraordinary months all the time.

Your Income Has a Setpoint

One of the first things I have clients calculate when we work together is their money setpoint.

You’ve likely heard of this idea…

We all have an amount of money that we tend to create when left to our own devices.

Put another way, it’s the amount of money your brain is comfortable with you making.

If you start moving too fast (when you earn more), the nervous system will send an unconscious message to the brain to slow down.

If you move too slow (by earning less), the reverse happens. The nervous system signals the brain to kick you into a higher gear so you start to earn more.

It’s the (dreaded) comfort zone.

In CreatorOS, this is the Inner Limit of Homeostasis at work.

The brain – who we affectionately call “Brian,” to avoid identifying with it too much – looooves familiarity.

His job is NOT to make you wealthy. His job is to keep you alive.

Which means that whenever you begin stretching beyond what feels familiar, part of your nervous system quietly begins looking for the ways to restore equilibrium.

This is protection, NOT “self-sabotage.” It’s what brains do.

The beautiful news?

Setpoints can change.

The problem is that most people go about it backwards.

Everyone Wants a Higher Ceiling. Nobody Thinks About the Floor.

Consider the way people usually approach goals.

“I want my first 50K month.”

“I’m going to hit six figures.”

“I’m manifesting a million dollars.”

AWESOME!

I love, love, LOVE me a Bold Money Outcome!

But here’s the challenge…

When you choose a new ceiling, you’re often choosing something that exists mostly in fantasy.

It’s disconnected from your current reality – which creates massive cognitive dissonance for “Brian.”

Disconnection creates logical LEAPS.

Logical leaps create DOUBT.

You don’t know if you’ll do it. You’re not sure you believe it.

And secretly, unconsciously…. you’re already prepping yourself for the possibility that you won’t make it.

This does a few things simultaneously.

It creates conflict. You get all excited about the BIG thing and when you’re in your “right mind,” you know it’s a done deal… but then you talk yourself out of it.

It runs counter to Law. The Law of Expectation tells us that there’s ZERO point in setting a goal without expecting to meet it, 10000%.

“Desire without expectation is useless wishing or dreaming,” says Raymond Holliwell, in his book Working With the Law. He’s right.

It also creates one of the most expensive patterns I know…

Breaking promises to yourself.

Every time you set a goal you don’t really believe… and say “This is the month”… and then quietly let yourself off the hook… self-trust erodes a little more.

People think they’ve lost confidence because they haven’t made “enough” money.

When really, they’re losing confidence because they’ve broken too many promises. And it’s their BRAIN that set them up to break the promise in the first place!

Making and keeping ONE decision will serve you far better than making 10 inspiring declarations you cannot honor.

So let me introduce a pattern interrupt…

Raise the Floor, and the “Ceiling” Follows

This is one of the shifts our clients make first.

Instead of obsessing over record-breaking months…

… they low-key choose a New Floor: the number they are committed to creating consistently and simply refuse to go below.

Notice how different this feels…

When you choose a New Floor, and you follow through (a true choce)…

You’re no longer asking, “What’s the biggest month I can create?”

Instead, you’re asking, “What level of income am I choosing to normalize?”

One question chases excitement. The other question commands certainty.

One depends on motivation. The other creates a Standard.

And once your Floor becomes normal…

(Not your “New Normal,” or a forever normal, but normal-ized…)

… it’s way, WAY easier to command those extraordinary months to show up on top of it. On repeat.

How to Choose Your New Floor

Understanding this concept is one thing.

The magic happens when you choose your new Floor intentionally, with skill, and as a conscious co-creation.

When you pick your New Floor out of thin air, you’re choosing with a consciousness that is still stuck in a limit.

The process I’m about to share below will guide you to a decision that your nervous system can begin organizing around.

I also share…

  • How to calculate your current Money Setpoint with accuracy (crucial so you don’t blow out your nervous system when choosing a New Floor)

  • The secret of “The Need Line” and why it’s key to making the entire system work

  • A bonus tool, “The New Zero,” which pretty much ensures that you never find yourself in feast-or-famine again
