The "Two Sides" You Must Master to Create Results on Command
There are two halves to your Creative Power. One is overlooked.
Every course, class or program I teach on the topic of reality creation starts with what I call “The Truth About You.”
And it goes something like this…
There’s a Truth about you that you probably don’t know. Indeed, we spend most of our lives blissfully unaware of this truth or trying to hide from it.
In fairness, for almost all of the time the truth has been out there, it has only been given to a select few. (Kinda like The Secret, only NOT, because… it was actually a secret.)
Those people were initiates, having to devote themselves to a mystery school for at least five years before it was revealed to them or equivalent in other magical traditions.
We don’t have that kind of time, so I’m just going to have it out with you.
Here goes…
You are Divine. The Divine is you.
Or as we say in my tradition: Thou art Goddess.
You are Divine. You are made up of the same energy as the Divine. You are Divine.
You are like God. You are God-like because you and Goddess are of the same substance. You have creative faculties that are unique to humans: will, imagination, intellect, and the power to choose.
You have massive, massive powers of creation given to you by Source, from whom you are not separate. You are not separate from life but are a part of it. You contribute to life and life contributes to you.
This is your Divine Nature.
This, of course, is one of the Big Spiritual Truths of the Ages. As such, it was, at one time, among the most guarded initiatory secrets in magical traditions.
You have a Divine Nature, and that gives you vast, vast powers of creation, going far beyond what even crosses your mind in a typical day.
Now, at this point in our timeline, this ISN’T some earth-shattering revelation. This “truth about you” is everywhere.
But it IS a profound one. And whenever I teach it… the (Zoom) room goes silent and the energy shifts as everyone takes it in.
And then someone says the quiet part out loud…
“If I’m some big snazzy Creator God, then why don’t I have everything I want? Where’s my mansion und a yacht?”
Point. 😎
Especially since, most of the time, humans are NOT “Creating All the Things” in the way you might expect Powerful Creator BE-ings to do. Indeed, the number one biggest question I’ve always gotten, when I teach creative power is, “Why isn’t it working?”
Of course, there are always upteen possible reasons why manifesting isn’t working as you expect it to. But, all of them basically boil down to the same reason.
Your Human Nature.
You are a Divine BE-ing, and a Human BE-ing.
I call these the “two halves of the manifesting equation.” You must have mastery of both to create on command.
On the one hand we have the Divine Side – the “spiritual superpowers” side. The Laws. Your Highest Level Self. Your Divine Nature. The fact that you’re God/Goddess, and, therefore, you have pow-ah. The quantum realms and multi-dimensionality and all that cool stuff.
Most manifesting courses focus almost exclusively on the Divine Side: Work with energy! Embody your vibration! The Law of Attraction! Et cetera.
At the same time, most neglect to adequately lay out or address the other side of the manifesting equation: your Human side, your Human Nature. The fact that you might be God and all, but you’re still having a human experience.
Being human means that you have a brain that is very, very invested in you staying exactly as you are. Maintaining the status quo, or “safe state” is the brain’s number one priority.
The triune brain theory – aka “the 3 brains” – tracks how our brain likely evolved, and breaks this all down.
First, there’s the brainstem – what I like to think of as the lizard brain or the critter brain. This is the part of the brain that is tracking our vital signs, making sure our heart is still beating and similar. It is also the part of the brain that makes us run, fight, or freeze when a woolly mammoth happens by.
Then, there’s the limbic brain – the emotional brain. This is the part of the brain that likes to feel warm and fuzzy. It’s not unlike a puppy who wants to curl up with you after it hasn’t seen you after a long day.
Finally, there is the neocortex – the logical brain. This brain thrives on order! This is the brain of the ego. It figures shizz out, and is the brain that is connected to the Higher Realms, the place where intuition resides.
There’s a fantastically interesting thing that goes on with the brains. Interesting, but also a bummer because it sets up the conflict for humans and makes us miserable our entire lives.
Your neocortex – the big ‘ol smart brain – is always reaching for the stars. This is the aspirational brain, the brain that can form visions, and the brain that is inspired to follow them. This is the part of our brain that Desires and goes for it.
Unfortunately, it’s living right alongside the brain stem. The brain stem has other ideas. The brain stem’s sole point in life is to keep us from death. Its biggest goal is: Don’t Die.
Indeed, this is such a big deal for the brain stem that its whole job in life is to walk around checking in to see if we’re dead yet, and, if we’re not dead, to keep on doing things that made us not dead – even if they kind of suck for us.
Snacking when you’re bored? That kept us from death last time, so let’s do it again! Buying designer handbags to make us feel whole? Great idea! And, oh yeah… we were able to survive that narcissistic mother just fine. Let’s find a life partner who’s just like our mom – that way, we can keep on living.
This makes zero sense to our higher mind of course – but makes loads of sense to the critter brain!
This conflict between our higher mind, our neocortex, and our lower mind, the lizard brain, the brainstem, keeps us in a constant tug-of war.
One part of us is pushing us from the inside, telling us to go for it, baby! While another part is telling us to put the brakes on. That “brakes on” part has adopted all kinds of patterns to keep us exactly where we are.
So does this mean that you’re stuck with this conflict forever, and are doomed to keep re-creating what you don’t want?
Absolutely not!
But you must be in full reality about these two sides, full awareness of which is operating when, and have specific tools for navigating this very REAL condition of humanity.
The first half of our Creative Power is our Divine Nature.
We are Divine Beings. Thou art Goddess. You are from Source and OF Source. The other part of Spirit in manifesting practice is the Laws. The spiritual laws that govern creation.
So to manifest with ease, we have to embrace our Divinity, and use the Laws properly. This is the SPIRITUAL side.
The other half of your Creative Power is our Human Nature.
You are a spiritual being living in a physical body.
To be a skilled magician who creates on command, you can’t IGNORE your physical-ness and your BE-ing-ness: your brain, your nervous system, your energy field, and how they work in the real world.
AND, you must understand that co-creation on demand is NOT just ONE thing.
Teachers will tell you: It’s your identity, it’s your nervous system, it’s NOT your strategy (news flash: sometimes, it’s your strategy), it’s this, it’s that.
As hard as it can be to hear when we want quick fixes and we feel like we’ve been working SO hard for SO long…
Fact is, it’s ALL of it. At once.

You don’t have to wrestle your “human” into submission. You don’t have to push, force or overcome your subconscious mind. You don’t have to “fix” your nervous system – it’s already working perfectly.
You don’t have to battle with yourself.

If you had to row a huge-ass boat across a lake that’s 2 miles long, in a snowstorm… and you have THREE people to help you do the job… and one of them is VERY powerful and can pretty much mow down anything in her path, once she’s set to course… wouldn’t you WANT her on your team?
Yeah. You would.
